I'm really glad Favre got the cover. I think it's a fitting tribute to someone who gave so much to the game. He had an incredible season this year, he broke several more records, and now he's facing retirement. I think it was a great choice, even if I am biased. Brett Favre - even in retirement, he's STILL "in the game!" :)
